My poor DH has a bad head cold.   You'd think the poor guy was on his deathbed.  Of course I've been very attentive and loving.  The best is he was saying he thought he caught it from the cat because the cat has been sneezing.  I had to tell him that's not possible for us to give or get a cold from a cat.  He's a smart guy... must be delirious.

I assure you that not all men turn into whiny morons when they get a cold.

That's good to know.  Although I find DH to be cute when he's like this as he's usually more independent.

BTW, I loved the Christmas decorations you posted in the other forum.

Thank you.  Been way enough to go around in our home and we have done our best to take good care of each other.

When my husband gets sick, he can only focus on one thing and that's being sick.

I on the other hand still have to get up, multi-task and do what I normally do every day.

Hope your hubby feels better soon.

My husband is just the opposite, he'll struggle through a cold and never say a word.  About 5 years ago he collapsed on the kitchen floor with, as it turns out, double pneumonia and stayed in the hospital for almost a week.  Doctor said it was one of the worst cases he had ever seen and yet hubby was up and out to work every single day the days and weeks prior to being diagnosed.  In fact, just a few minutes prior to his collapse he was out raking leaves - the man just muddles through.  .

If only I could complain about my husband sniffling and wanting to be babied with a cold! Here's what I discovered about my man: the sicker he got and the more serious it became, the less he complained, the stronger he became. He went out fighting like a warrior. Be happy that you can pamper your guy with a little extra love, not all of us can, it's really all he's asking for.

My Dh is the same way when he is sick, OP. Fortunately, he doesn't get sick very often. Also, he has never been more ill than a bad flu. I shudder to think what he'd be like if he was ever really ill.

LOL, while I do know such men, my husband has to be on his death bed to stay in bed.  He passed 2 humongous kidney stones and never even left work.
