@suzyQ3, thank you for sharing this. If it helps even one person to understand that this is real and can not be taken lightly, it is a great service. I just wish everyone would follow the guidelines as this is so easily transmitted it seems.

@RetRN, speaking of understanding, I thought it might be wise to share this: my daughter's first symptoms were intestinal, not a cough or fever. I believe she did subsequently develop one.

Both she and I had already read about this occurring with some of the infected. So we should all keep this in mind.

Loss of taste and sense of smell are also symptoms.

Bless your daughter for trying to alert her company to the danger. I wish your family a speedy and complete recovery. 🌺

@suzyQ3 I am so very sorry. Prayers up for your daughter and her family. And for you, stay well friend.

I know it must be so stressful for you at this time. ❤

Oh @suzyQ3, I so hate to hear this.  I know you have to be concerned and worried.  Good news right now is that evidently she isn't in the hospital and is managing, as well as your grandson.   Sending hugs for sure.

When you have time and when appropriate, I would be interested in knowing if she noticed losing her sense of smell and taste.

But in the meantime, yes....this should be taken seriously.  And that is what we have to remember.....beyond those numbers that are on a screen somewhere as to how many test positive.....each one of those numbers is a person.  A person that is loved by someone.  They are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, cousins, friends.   It is not just about statistics!

I am sending prayers, positive thoughts, and hugs your way!

Remember Dr. Fauci's advice:  Act as though you do have COVID-19 and are without symptoms.  Take all necessary precautions to protect those with whom you come into contact.

@RetRN I just got told that anyone following the guidlines were cowards.....

@CelticCrafter Wow! There's nothing brave about putting yourself in harm's way with this virus. Someone is ignorant about the dangers of Covid-19. I hope they're not close to you.

I was told I wasn't "positive".
