Re: When a literal Army of ...

I can relate after working nights for years. 💕 Although, I was usually lucky to 💤 by 11AM.

I'd just be thankful they DID show up!

Hear all the times hired companies don't even show or call.

We had our roof replaced the week before Christmas.  Luckily, I worked one of the days.  DH kept Shadow in the basement with the music turned up.

It's a good thing when a contractor shows up at 8am in my book. Usually it's 830 -9. You'd think they'd wanna start early to get more done in a day!

My dogs barked when the crew first showed up and then again when they got on the roof but I quietened them down and there is no more barking.  They had a good sniff around the property though when I let them out.  I knew this was going to be a top notch crew because I know some of the builders they work for. That's why DH hired them. I watched them on the outside cameras as they were cleaning up. The only evidence that they were here is a new roof and gutters.

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Does anybody have a sense of humor anymore? Did you not notice my upside down smiley face?  Lighten up ladies. And to the person who wanted to know what I was doing up all night, I was robbing a bank and hanging out at the local bars.

When did you expect them to show up?  8:00 AM is customary.  And yes, it's a noisy job.

Exactly.  I would be happy the crew showed up early to work on and complete the project.

Me plus 8 others (and counting) who apparently agreed with my comment.  🙄

@JeanLouiseFinch it is more than that now.  This poster has been very snarky to me in the past.  I do have a sense of humor, and I'm sure you do, too.  You made a simple comment.  That's all.
