Don't know where my post disappeared to but how about using a small plastic spray bottle of X-O odor dissolver ( I got the product from the Q years ago ) ?

I remember having an overseas flight on a Scandinavian airlines.  As soon as we entered the cabin, I smelled fish. (I hate fish)  I knew I was in for an extremely unpleasant flight.  The smell became worse when they served dinner.  They served lox with breakfast. 

 

Though it was costly, we changed carriers for our return flight.
