I know it's all just silliness, but I always thought the different personalities of the colors was cute, especially for their commercials.
I'll also admit that 'Yellow' has always been my favorite character of the bunch. I have a couple things I got at the Las Vegas M&M store years ago.

Silly. I am thinking that maybe younger people are buying less candy so this is an attempt to appeal to that group. Words thrown around like 'sustainable' and 'farm to table',and the rest of the trendy b.s., M&M's may need to boost their customer base.
Then again, I still can't get used to blue M&M's. 😄

Uh, sales and marketing promotions are a CONTINUAL part of every successful food manufacturers' budgets.
Since you think it's "nonsense" .... just what would YOU do to promote a long time, established product and come up with something NEW to say about it in the upcoming advertising promotions?
