I've been on the forums a long time; probably late 90s to early 2000s. Not sure exactly when, but way longer than what my profile says. My profile says 2010, but that's because we all had to register again for the new forums.

I read a long time before I got the courage to post. I remember when Jeanne Bice of QF was a regular target of mean posters. I also remember that every Thursday someone would start an ugly thread about Susan Graver. It's kind of sad that I remember the "not so good" posts back in the day, but there have always been nice people and posts here too.

@wilma Welcome!🥰 I was somewhat saddened when I read this!😔 How ANYONE could attack Jeanne is beyond me!!🤔 She was such a spunky sweetheart!❤ I like Susan, but have seen her too, become the victim of unflattering language.😐 Thankfully, I do not see it much these days, or perhaps am just lucky enough to be missing it!😁

I've been reading on and off for years. One of the first threads I read was a thread for widows. Two posters went on it and accused the woman who started that thread of not being a widow because she had never married. That was their startingg point. They reached heights of cruelty that lefft me in shock. That could never happen now. Change can be good.

I enjoy the forums for information but I've noticed that there can be alot of angry/heated/not nice comments by posters and against posters but then there can be alot of very helpful/nice comments to posters & I think there is more of this than the other.

I also remember reading posts from another poster who claimed she was in an abusive relationship. I wondered if it were so or if it was a troll. She said she was fleeing the country due to her husband. I never saw her post again.

It seems the same as when I first joined. Only some posters are more familiar now.

There are many I have come to enjoy. You are one Sandy. @monicakm @Tique @BarbiHollywood @threecees @JudyL @SloopJohnB @SportyShorty07 are a few I post with on the beauty and soap forums.

@KBEANS Thank you for your very kind words. I am sorry to hear that your friend passed of covid- she must have enjoyed your friendship, since you are a wonderful person. I bet she is watching over you- I do believe in Heaven and angels. I'm glad that you found the QVC forums and are continuing to enjoy the soaps and soap forums. I haven't seen a full soap series beginning to end, but I recently watched the whole season of Dallas that Christopher Atkins was on and I loved it. Thank you for the shout out and very kind words- I enjoy your posts too and its great to be a part of the QVC forums .

I hope whomever she was, she did not leave, or feel compelled to use another name, as I have seen that happen.😐 How WONDERFUL it is that we now have moderation to keep this type of harassment from happening again!❤

I joined many years ago...too many years to count...most of my info has never been exactly accurate, but no big deal for me. The biggest change I see is more snarky responses to seemingly innocent and harmless posts. I do miss the friendly banter between people who posted everyday; it was very nice and more like a club. The admin does poof pretty quickly if things get out of hand, but wish they would allow a bit more leeway to mention current events and only poof the poster, not the entire thread.
