I don't remember what year the car was but in 1976 my Dad bought me a used Datsun. It was a brown color with a coppery color top. I wouldn't say I loved it but I sure did like it a lot. It got me from point A to point B.

1964 Buick Wildcat.  White with turquoise roof.

First car I bought was a 1974 red Datsun pickup.  Roll bar and fancy side mufflers.   A friends son had moved away.   Met my husband shortly after that, at 6'3'' he hated it.

*ETA*   Loved them both.   Lived in small town and it was a long way to town.

A 1959 MGB (an English sportscar- the Miata looks like it).  I got it instead of a engagement ring  My husband totalled it in 1961.  Do you think I should have gotten an engagement ring instead? lol

Loved that car.  The next was a TR3  (yellow). Loved this one too.

Oddly enough my husband had a brand new Miata when he died.  Life is a full circle......

wow, that was your first car?!  Always loved both of those cars and always wanted one.  Lucky!

After many barely serviceable, then practical cars (including the dreaded minivan) I love the car I have now.

I had a VW bug.  I can't even remember the year.  I loved it until it stopped working, LOL.

My very first car was a used 1981 brown Chevrolet Chevette.  It was cheap, but it had a stick shift!  As a late bloomer, I'd just started driving my own car at 33 years old.  I learned to drive that stick shift and loved it.  I got stuck on the high rise while driving upon the interstate one time.  A kind man stopped on the highrise and saw my car sitting on the side of the road, and he helped get my car started. It had a water leak. I traded that car in one year later and bought a brand spanking new shiny black 1987 Ford Escort standard shift. Loved it.
