We have a couple of small cats who have been hanging around our yard for the past couple of months. They were very young wild kittens when we first saw them. One day I caved in and fed them so of course, they now visit often. {#emotions_dlg.laugh} My dilemma is they are now letting me pet and hold them but it has taken a lot of time and patience. Both are just begging for attention so I now I can pet them when they are eating. I can't stand to see them crying for food. Both usually will come in early morning and early evening but when we let our dogs out we can see them hanging around our yard after dark. Sometimes, we won't see them for a couple of days but then they just show up again.

One is a female and the other is a male...they are definitely siblings due to color of eyes and size. We have no idea where they came from or if they belong to a neighbor. Our neighborhood has privacy fences on every lot so we can't see where they go when they aren't hanging out at our house. I have seen them race up our trees/fence to get away from our Shih-Tzu as he wants to play with them. They can get pretty wild racing around playing and zipping up and down the trees, shed and fences so bringing them into the house is out of the question.

I don't want them to have babies. I want to get the female fixed but I don't know if she belongs to someone. I know they trust me enough to get them into a carrier and we have a low cost spay/neuter clinic in the area. What would you do?
