That last sentence right there is a classic. I wonder if a disbelief in "science" can be considered a mental defect? Smiley Happy

The problem with science is that it changes. There's never a definitive answer. It's only a theory until the next study.

Of course there are plenty of definitive answers. Back in the middle ages people thought the sun revolved around the earth. Science told us the earth revolves around the sun.

Some people still think the earth is flat, we know it's not, it's basically a sphere (oblate spheroid). We know about gravity, we know a lot about the universe. Books have been written on what we know.

You've used "theory" incorrectly in its scientific frame. Your idea of theory is not how it's used in science, as in the theory of gravity.

  • scientific theory
  • A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is acquired through the scientific method, and repeatedly confirmed through observation and experimentation.

That doesn't mean "maybe" or that it's just someone's guess, as so many people wrongly assume.

Exactly. Science is everchanging.

It's so easy; wouldn't have to even think about it! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

I would just keep loving and supporting that unique sweet child, and admiring & encouraging their bravery in being & expressing who they know they truly are in the very essence of their being. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
