When I am gone I have no need for anyone to remember me....the living should get on with life. No need to drag around the dead.

I feel that those I've known who have gone before me can inspire me still by their example -- or can be a value lesson of "what NOT to do."

You are more important than you realize. May you be blessed.

What you said, Solar, really hits home for me. I had some wonderful examples in my life and they have definitely made impressions on me. I still remember things they said or did that influenced my life greatly. We leave a legacy. All of us do. It is my hope that each generation of my family can improve on the last one. I hope my kids do better than I did, and I hope their kids do better than they did.... and on and on. It is important how we live because it effects future generations.

Solar and jubilant, Beautifully stated and I couldn't agree more.

Thank you!

Re: What would you LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR?

I feel I will be "remembered" (for however long that lasts) for different things by different people. Those qualities will vary from negative to positive . . . a very wide range.

I have tried to live my life independently, with strength, and with no intent to ever hurt or "use" anyone.

The only important one to me will be how my children, grandchildren, and extended family will remember me, and that will be that I loved them above all else, with all my heart.

Re: What would you LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR?

I have no particular talents. I am not brilliant. But I hope that when people remember me, that will think that I was a person who had a very kind heart, who truly cared about people's feelings and always had time to listen. Also, that I had extreme love of all animals.
