I am never as comfortable in a hotel as I am in my camper. When we go north in the spring and come back south in the fall we have to stay 3 nights in a hotel. I have come to hate it! The only good thing in a hotel is the free breakfast.

I've never enjoyed camping but my husband does, so when we retired he got the bright idea that we would buy a RV and travel around to all the different camp sites. We went to a couple RV shows saw some impressive ones also very expensive after I told him this was the only way I would camp he said forget about it lol.

A nice camper doesn't cost any more than a very nice car - as a matter of fact we bought a new car and a new camper within the last 3 years and they both cost exactly the same amount.

Amen, sister!
My idea of vacation is to leave behind cooking, laundry and housework. Why would I want all that stuff trailing along behind me? ![]()

I just thought they were cute and would be fun to DECORATE! Cooking? Needing a bathroom? A/C? Wet dew in the AM? Needing a LARGE SPA-like tub. Forget it... I'm out! I think one would be cute to fix up as a Glamour-cowgirl store!! HAHA LOL

Do you see some reason why people who are staying in a camper HAVE TO eat there and can't go to a restaurant? Do you not have dirty laundry at the end of your trip that you brought home with you? Honestly!

It is amazing to me that people who have never tried a camper - never stayed in one - have absolutely NO IDEA about anything about it just can't wait to put down the experience or those who enjoy it.

I agree with you and I probably would've argued with you when I was younger. LOL.
I'm so not interested in sleeping in a bed that thousands of others have slept in. Using a bathroom that's basically a public bathroom. Standing in a shower that thousands have showered in. Would never use the bathtub.
I am skeeved out just typing this!
