What a beautiful post.

When I think of beautiful, peaceful, Winter scenes, I think of a Canadian artist by the name of Trisha Romance. She is from a lovely quaint town by the name of, Niagara-on-the-Lake, near Niagara Falls,Ontario.

She has painted many “warm and fuzzy” scenes. Please take a look. Sorry I don’t know how to post websites here.

I vote for the beach/palm tree scenes...

But I spent my 1st 52 years living in Michigan.  Had entirely enough of snow shoveling, scraping ice from car windows and endless drives to and from work.

Took skiing lessons in my 20's hoping to find SOME pleasure in snow.

Nope - best part was drinking in the ski lodge afterwards!  LOL

The evening we were at Biltmore, it was barely snowing and absolutely gorgeous.  I could just imagine all the hustle and bustle when it was a home.. very cozy feeling to me...
