I forgot the Philharmonic in 1963 and it was the day Pres. Kennedy assassinated in Texas. Such a sad day, I went home and my mom was crying. It was my brothers birthday and his little party got canceled.

@luvmyteddy4  My very first real music production  was at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, U.K. saw La Boheme, my first opera absolutely spell binding I was blown away as a teenager - later came the rock n roll!

It was at Ravinia in Highland Park Illinois. It was the late 70's and I went by train (as there is a train station at the park). I think it was Leo Sayer or Peter Frampton.
