Come to think of it - ours was "Thanks for the memories" and there were several pages of memorable events pictured. And someone wrote some new words to that song and we all sang it at our senior luncheon. Thanks for the memories , of school days that we knew ------, the good the bad the glad the sad and all the fun we had , oh thank you so much. Many the contests we entered, and many the prizes we won , oh well it was swell while it lasted , we did have fun and no harm done so thanks for the memories..... I think it had about 5 versus. I once knew the words to them all, but that was 50 years ago now. They also played this music in the background as we walked up to get our diplomas. I was the first one in my class to get my diploma because they did honor students first and my name was first alphabetically. We were supposed to be very solemn but as soon as I got my diploma I was waving it in the air and jumping so then everyone else did the same or more. My Mom said "You just had to start all that didn't you?"

What is a Senior Quote? Something said by and old(Senior)person?

In 1966 our quote was "We dare to be different."

My guess would be that if an 18 year old made some statement and then went back to look at it 50 years later, they would not believe it came from them. After all the good and bad that happens over the years, we gain a lot of wisdom and a hard dose of reality.
That idealism of youth dissipates.

I know we had one -and we even had a class song-but I am seriously having a "senior comment"!
I could have cared less- I was 17 and graduated early. I didn't do any senior stuff like getting a class ring...I had "the portrait" only because my parents wanted it.....I didn't even attend graduation.....

We didn't even have a year book, 45 years ago let alone a senior quote. I thought this also referred to a 'senior moment' .... great minds think alike!!!

We may have had a class quote/motto - I'm sure we did - but we didn't have individual ones, or "most likely to succeed" stuff.

I assume you're talking about our high school yearbook. I just searched for and found mine (very dusty!!) and our class motto was: "Education is the cornerstone of success." We also had a section called Senior Personalities. Mine was: "Her quiet ways only add to her charms." Imagine that ...

Our yearbook staff put a "suitable" quote by each person's picture. Their opinion!
