"Suspicious Minds" cover by a band local to the Chicago area, Rick Lindy & the Wild Ones, they are fantastic! They are all extremely talented & the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet.

My "sexy" went MIA a long time ago, I've given up looking for it, it doesn't want to be found. ![]()

I’ve recently discovered Laura Daigle, who’s voice is similar to Adele’s. Love everything I’ve listened to of hers but this is the one I first heard on Christian radio.

BTW, my employer just turned on a Christmas station and I've got holiday songs now while I work. I am not responsible for my actions if this keeps up until 2019.

I'm playing my Amazon music, right now it's the theme from the TV series Big Little Lies,
"Cold Little Heart" by Michael Kiwanuka.
"Love and Hate" is another excellent song of his on that same album of the same title.

I love reading the responses and the ideas for more music. We're approaching the date when my father departed our earthly plane, "slipped the surly bonds of earth" and he's been on my mind even more than usual, lately. I was just listening to 2 things today and wanted to share this incredibly touching expression of love from father to daughter. It just as easily could be from anyone to a child who holds a special place in their heart.
The music is glorious on its own and the words, when sung, extend infinitely beyond a father-daughter connection.
Remember this line: "Someday your child may cry, and, if you sing this lullaby, then, in your heart, there will always be a part of me."
We pass our love on and on. We carry forward the light and spirit of our loved ones, and we are a testiment to their life.
Don't stop the video when he gets up and walks away... watch all the way to the end. (The same as his song, he didn't really go away.)

"Daddy, what happens when you die?"
"Good night, my angel, time to close your eyes, and save these questions for another day.
I think I know what you've been asking me, I think you know what I've been trying to say.
I promised I would never leave you. And, you should always know wherever you may go,
No matter where you are, I never will be far away.
Good night, my angel, now it's time to sleep. And still, so many things I want to say.
Remember all the songs you sang for me when we went sailing on an emerald bay.
And, like a boat out on the ocean, I'm rocking you to sleep.
The water's dark and deep.
Inside this ancient heart, you'll always be a part of me.
Goodnight, my angel, now it's time to dream, and dream how wonderful your life will be.
Someday your child may cry, and, if you sing this lullaby, then in your heart there will always be a part of me.
Someday we'll all be gone, but lullabies go on and on.
They never die...
that's how you and I...
will be."

Here's the other one I've been listening to, today, and I share it as my wish for all of you.
I think the holidays "busy us up" to the point that we don't always have time to stop and tell others that we appreciate them, we're here for them, and that we want the best for them.
My wish for you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rascal Flatts
"My Wish"
"I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you wanna go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile.
But more than anything, more than anything
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
I hope you never look back, but you never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you live,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And always give more than you take.
But more than anything, yeah, more than anything
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish."
