And I agree, Lisa is nearing 50 so her audience would be of that generation or older. Doubt that many 22 years old are scanning her pages.

Yes, older viewers have more disposable income, but they are also less likely to switch brands or be influenced by advertisements. This is generically speaking. On 10/14/2014 minkbunny said:I find the whole phenomenon fascinating from a psychological point of view. I'm not sure what age has to do with it? Okay I always gave the benefit of the doubt to the *viewers* who complained about hosts doing a terrible job presenting items that they *were truly interested in buying*.
But I don't see why ANYONE would bother to read their facebook pages or tweets if they don't like the person or don't care to see what they doing. What's the sense of it???
Anyway, if what is written here is what Lisa writes about, I don't see any harm in it. She's not being mean, or vulgar. It's all lighthearted 'stuff'.

She really is full of herself, isn't she? And seriously, who the heck cares if she had macaroni and cheese, cleaned her sock drawer and went to see bridal dresses?!?! As I said before, she just seems juvenile to me with these things -- like a teenage girl who just got her Facebook page. What makes a person so desperate for attention? Geez.![]()

I heard she was meeting with some big wigs in NYC about a line of dyeable shoes.

I know it's so weird! They're taking a magnifying glass to her life and poking around her FB looking for anything to gripe about. Bizarre. Her personal life doesn't interest me. I'm not curious so I don't look.

Mac and cheese and a Brussels sprout salad.Okay, I will bite. Doing nothing but watching the Royals game anyway.
What about her sock drawer was worthy of comment on her FB page?
She is the quintessential Facebooker.
She knows her audience -- it's much more of the Facebook demographic which is an older demographic for the most part.
"older demographic" LOL I don't think so. And yet "twitter" is for the young, immature crowd"!
