If the cooking shows were actually about cooking, I would enjoy.

About the time the cooking gets good, the "chef" is interrupted by how many are sold or colors remaining.    Very annoying

I don't like the beauty shows, I don't like seeing someone's pores & wrinkles up close on my big screen HD TV.

I don't mind the fashion shows, but I rarely buy anything.

I love jewelry shows

Your comment about colors remaining made me laugh.  There are so many things that I do not care what color I get.  Vacuum cleaners, steam mops, and for me, even dishes - don't care.  At my house these are all hidden away in closets or cabinets anyway.

Maybe I'm different than most but my friends and I never care if the dishes match, if the pots/pans are all the same color, etc. I go to my sister's for most holiday meals and bc around the holidays she cooks for large crowds oftentimes a lot doesn't match but it has never affected how the meal tasted.

I rarely watch QVC anymore.  I tune in when there are breaks on other TV shows!

There are many products that do not interest me and there are several hosts I will not watch --

regardless of what they are selling!

If I am interested in an item, I usually look it up online.

I can't remember the last tme I sat thru an entire QVC show!

I guess all of them because I haven't watched QVC in about 8 years.   I just couldn't take it anymore.

Well, I wouldn’t necessarily use the term hate, but “not a fan of” includes gardening & electronics.

DH says shows w/anorexic models. Actually I watch very few shows and the ones I do watch is only for a few seconds. I would have to say most of them. Miss the old days.

@Group 5 minus 1I agree; I miss "the old days" and the current fashion/product models are over-the-top show-off; some are unhealthy looking.

IMO, there are more plus sized, ordinary looking models than ever before.  Nothing wrong with that, just saying the Q does not have many “anorexic” looking models at all.

many shows disinterest me, but the ones I just don’t “get” are the beauty gadget and countless beauty cream shows.  One would need an extra room for all the countertop plug-In/battery equipment products for skin and hair care.

you would have to spend many hours a day to use all of that stuff.  And often the vendor has had cosmetic surgery, yet they try to convince us it’s all some magical cream or piece of equipment they are selling . . . None of which is affordable anyway.

i don’t mind some of the makeup shows, we all wear a little makeup occasionally.
