Re: What type shows on the Q do you hate to see come on.....

I don't consider presenting items on TV for sale as being shows.  Shows On TV are for entertainment.  QVC is not entertainment, nor do they have shows.

Shopping channels are nothing more than live catalog like shopping.  I am not a big TV watcher and get bored really easy watching anything.

I channel surf, especially in the evenings.  I do tune in to see what QVC  is offering, but I don't hang around and watch most of the time.  I prefer to look at merchandise online myself, read the description and reviews and order, Instead of having it presented to me by a sales person.

I guess I like to shop alone.  Nothing new.  I have always liked to shop alone in brick and mortar stores too.

Things I pass by immediately are My pillow, mattresses, recliner chairs,  skin care and make-up, jewelry, and anything Dennis Basso or David Venable, food, and Christmas decor.

Re: What type shows on the Q do you hate to see come on.....

There are a lot of shows I'm personally not interested in but I know they appeal to others.  OTOH what I like others do not.

I don't watch any of the shopping channels like I used to so I just don't watch when items are being presented that I don't care for.  Example, not into the gardening shows so I won't even turn QVC on today.  Also am not interested in cooking shows so never turned QVC on Sunday.

I will say I think QVC does too many all day events at one time.  They just had an all day beauty event, Sunday was all day cooking, yesterday was almost all fashions/accessories, today is all day gardening and Thursday is Gold Rush.  It's too much of the same thing for 24 hours.  I think they should limit the 24 hour events to once a month.

If the cooking shows were actually about cooking, I would enjoy.

About the time the cooking gets good, the "chef" is interrupted by how many are sold or colors remaining.    Very annoying

I don't like the beauty shows, I don't like seeing someone's pores & wrinkles up close on my big screen HD TV.

I don't mind the fashion shows, but I rarely buy anything.

I love jewelry shows

I don't watch much unless there is something that catches my interest.  I channel surf and what I don't like are the often seemingly endless shows of handbags that are so overpriced to just carry stuff in and most are too small to even bother trying to put anything in!

I don’t record or watch garden shows, anything techie, non-specific gift shows (like at holidays), so & sos closet, and 24 hour marathon presentations of same products like upcoming gold rush....same old stuff.

would like to add my vote for the hour long one item sales pitch.  2 minutes and I am gone.  why oh why do we need 60 minutes of the same item.  how much can you find to say about the color of the vacuum and other meaningless comments. ugh! no way, can scrub the bathroom or other fascinating household chores instead...
