I bought a Weber charcoal grill last summer. It is small which is perfect for the 2 of us and we've been happy with it. It was on sale at our local True Value for $44.00

@goldensrbest How about an electric grill? We do not have a grill but there are some nice ones that might suit you better.
The Spruce Eats website reviews grills for 2020-I've used this site for reviews of other items.
Kitchen Gear Zone is another site.
You can check online at Lowe's and Home Depot, too, for reviews.

We have a natural gas grill and Traeger smoker/grill (it plugs in and uses pellets)

I have a Weber propane grill that I've been using for over 5 years and haven't had any issues with it so far. I prefer propane to charcoal because I grill week night dinners. I'd prefer charcoal for the intense heat and flavor though.

Electric George Forman now - easy - plug-in - heat up - cook.
I didn't want to mess with gas after becoming single.

I bought a Weber charcoal also for two and I love it. I love to grill and tomorrow I'm fixing ribs and fajitas to honor me for Mother's Day.

I have (2) Weber charcoal grills and love them!! One is very small so it's great for making a smaller meal. The other is a medium size that I use for dinner on the weekends when I'm grilling the entire meal. I prefer the charcoal. I usuallybuy the MatchLite brand because I don't like to mess with lighter fluid. Works great every time.

We had a webber with propane, but we live in a high fire area. I saw a propane tank become a missile during one of the fires here. We got rid of it and have a medium webber kettle that uses charcoal. We use one of those chimney gizmos to light the coals you put newspaper in it and light. very easy.
If I were alone I would most likely just get something like a george foreman electric grill. I am getting lazier in my old age.
