Yesterday I posted on here that I was going to be alone at home on Thanksgiving....  Well last evening my neighbor upstairs over me was here to clean my apartment.  We were talking about Thanksgiving and she invited me to go with her to her parent's home with her.  That really thrilled me.  I accepted.  She said they will be having turkey, mashed taters, sweet taters, veggies, and she is fixing a veggie tray and fruit tray.  

Her mother has been battling cancer too, and is now going through radiation treatments (which I recently completed).  She has a large family so all the food will be prepared by the younger ones.  There will be quite a crowd there, plus Jeanne's little grand children.  I have met her one daughter, and also one of her adorable grandsons.  I believe Jeanne has 3 grown children of her own, plus 5 grands.  I am so looking forward to meeting all of them.  

She jokingly told me that there will be 3 of us on walkers.  And, she said we would go through the garage to go into the house, so there will be no steps.....well except for the one to get up into the house.  She will keep me advised as to what time dinner will be served, and will take me with her......

Usually about 2pm.

   We usually start at 2pm.Then it’s a slow steady flow of food & drink with football in between.It goes until about 11pm.I love Thanksgiving.It’s my favorite holiday. It’s about family,friends & fun.No decorating.No gifts.No pressure.

if we are invited to someone house for celebration. it  usually is about 3pm in that time frame.

if i do anything here at my house, it is just me and my husband then it will be between 1-3pm.

this year it will probably be a celebration between my husband and myself.  the house we are usually invited to she just had major surgery so i doubt really seriously she will be up to hosting a huge thanksgiving meal.
