@Mz iMac, this was nearly 19 years ago. Apparently they found the culprit (housekeeping maybe?) because I wasn't charged for them, I never heard anything more about it. I'm done with this conversation since you don't seem to be listening.

@sgraham30I believe you. You didn't steal the feather bed and when and how you reported anything about it is completely beside the point, because you didn't do anything wrong to begin with.

Verdict: @sgraham30 is hereby exonerated and innocent on all counts. Woman Very Happy

Re: What the What?! Hotel Guests Stealing Mattresses!!!

I heard this on the news and just couldn't believe what l was hearing!! Who wants a mattress that's been slept on by a lot of people?!?! Ewww!!! Not me!! I even take my own sheets, a blanket and pillows! Extreme?? I don't think so! A poster here said, the hotels have their credit cards so they can easily be tracked down. If they say they didn't take it, l would call the police because it is regarded as theft. Taking shampoo or other small things from the bathroom...the hotel expects that...but driving off with a mattress...that's stealing!

I can't imagine seeing a car on the highway with a mattress on top of a car without being in a plastic bag!! I would Lol and say what the heck??

Just can't picture it with all the security cameras in hotels. I suppose if it was a bed in a box type mattress, it might be a bit easier.
