Every time I get images back from pinterest or polyvore. I suspect it's how I use chrome. All browsers bring back results based on your browsing history. I shop on line a lot so....I'm thinking that can be it.

I'm not saying I never see some stores like NM, Boscov's (which I had never heard of until last year) but most of the images I look for come back with Pinterest and/or Polyvore. More results from these sites than any other.

I love pinterest. I started to get really into when we were doing our beach house. I had a certain idea for how I wanted the general architecture, mouldings, beds built into the wall, lighting fixtures, faucets, styles of wood for floors, fireplaces, etc... Just stuff that I could look through magazines and design books forever and not find as quickly as I wanted or at all. I could search for a small amount of time and find so many more things that I wanted than I did when I sat down and explained it to contractors or the girl who helped me with interior design and fabrics. I could pin what I liked or loved and show the different contractors and we could scale down the huge volumes of their books I was going through daily. It was really so helpful and saved me so much time and aggravation. I had redone my main house so I was pretty good at explaining what I wanted at that point but this was like such a time saver for me. I cannot state how much pinterest helped me not only putting a picture to what I wanted but also being able to show others what I wanted as well so everyone was completely clear.

I do the same with nearly every category in there. Great and cute ideas for holiday themed parties and foods (cute kids recipes too), travel, hair and nails, gardening, clothing, wedding ideas, health, etc...

To speak to what another poster put about the recipes being fat and sugar laden, well there are all types of recipes and if you search for healthy ones, you will find many of them.

I do think like the previous poster said, it really is what you make of it.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.
