What the Bleep?!

Okay, so this just happened.

I had gone out to run some errands, and I was on my way home, and I was not even 1/4 mile from my house, when I saw in my rearview mirror a CHP (California Highway Patrol) SUV with lights on, and I could hear his siren.

I immediately pulled over, and he flew past me.

I pulled back out in to the street, but now my light was red.

Naturally, I stopped, and waited for it to turn green.

I was the first at the light, and here came three more CHPs with lights and sirens on, also flying.

I could not move, because my light was red, and I had cross traffic, so I just sat there.

As they raced past me, I said "I'm sorry!" as I was stuck there, but they just went around me.

I wanted to get out of their way , but I couldn't, that's why I was saying, "I'm sorry".

Finally my light turns green, and I make it home, and about two minutes later, here came two more California Highway Patrol SUV's, also with lights and sirens racing up the street.

About ten minutes later, four of the CHP's went tearing down the street that they had just zoomed up a few minutes prior, again, with lights and sirens on.

I was standing outside at this point, and as one CHP went past, I could see that he had his computer screen on and there was something on the screen.

I don't know what all the hub-bub was about that needed no less than six California Highway Patrol SUV's to fly by with lights and sirens on.

Maybe it's better that I don't know?

I have to admit, I am curious though!

When I came inside, I couldn't help but to say, "What the **©*?!"😄

The Sky looks different when you have someone you love up there.

Maybe they were chasing after someone and then lost them?? You did the best thing when in that kind of situation. Just sit tight and let them pass you.

@Kachina624 @KatieB I sure would want to know what ws happening but I would wait until I understood the situation before complaining about the CHP

No! Just the opposite!

I was just wondering what the hell was going on that had six CHP's respond.

Maybe you are use to cops flying past you, but for me, that is out of the norm.
