Luxottica Group S.p.A. is the world's largest eyewear company, controlling over 80% of the world's major eyewear brands.[2][3] Its best known brands are Ray-Ban and Persol. It also makes sunglasses and prescription frames for a multitude of designer brands such as Chanel and Prada, whose designs and trademarks are used under license. Luxottica also makes sunglasses branded Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Versace, Vogue, Miu Miu, Tory Burch, and Donna Karan.[4] Its prime competitor is the Safilo Group S.p.A.
Chickenbutt: I remember watching a 60 minute segment on frames and the story about Luxottica. So, indeed, your Prada frames are made by them. ![]()

Oh cool. Thanks for that info. I know that brands are owned by other brands, etc, but I didn't know much more than that.
Glad it's a good company. I definitely recommend the brand. I just recently had my new Rx put into both (reg glasses & sunglasses) of my Prada frames because I don't want any others.

Love "rountangular", sophiamarie.
I have Coach rountangular sunglasses. I use my regular glasses only for driving and those are very cute Ray-Bans. .

I have three pairs of glasses to coordinate with my clothes. All three are the rounded rectangular shape and have progressive and transition lenses. I have always had a tint in my car and I'm very grateful for it because of the snow on bright shiny days we've had this winter.

Mine are Perry Ellis, bought on eBay for dirt cheap.
Just use your same measurements and you can find great frames!
I am fair with Blonde hair, I love the contrast of the dark frames.

I have 2 pair. of regular glasses and 1 pair of sunglasses. All are prescription glasses. I have invisible bi-focals, am near sighted, far sighted, and have astigmatism.
One pair is brown w some striping on the sides (think animal ish) and they are rectangle. The ones I have on now are kind of rectangle/oval combined (hard to explain) and they are purple trimmed in light blue edging. Both look good on me (I am a redhead). I also have prescription sunglasses that are big tortoise colored.
When I go for glasses I drive them nuttso because I must try about 30 to 50 pair. I have my husband and the clerk tell me which ones look best. lol.
And when my husband goes he is legally blind without his glasses so I help him pick his and he is styling because not to brag but I know whats cool. He looks hot in his glasses.
Now our glasses are 3 years old, we missed going last year. But we are going to go in Spring of this year to get new ones.
