Monte Cristo is my very favorite as well, but my son makes them with a wonderful Raspberry sauce for dipping.  Yum.  It amazes me he can deep fry and nothing disappears inside the sandwich.  Getting hungry just thinking of it.

Cold meatloaf with mustard and sliced dill pickle is my favorite sandwich. I'm not a big sandwich person, but I do eat one occasionally. It has to be on a really good bread.

Love sandwich's of all kinds, favorites would be, French Dip, Italian Sub, Fried Bologna, Grilled Cheese, Corned Beef, etc.....

PBJ or grilled cheese are always yummy.

I have three I couldn't choose between:

Caprese Sandwich: tomato, mozzarella, basiil, and balsamic vinaigrette on French bread.

Grilled Cheese: fig preserves, Brie, and sliced apple on wheat bread. (A ham and Swiss on sourdough is also good!)

Roast Beef and Avocado: roast beef, avocado, mayo, mustard, lettuce, salt & pepper on fresh wheat bread from my favorite local sub shop.

My all time favorite would have to be a good BLAT but two of my current favs are Cubano and Banh Mi.
