The only answer for me is "Motown" that says it all. LOL

Adding that there's just no way to pick one song, one artist, etc. We've been so lucky to have so many varieties of music, singers, and instrumentals in our lifetime. As long as I have a radio (I know t.v. does it now too) I can be happy.

Oh my, I have many, many Motown favorites, but I have to put "What's Going On" as my perennial favorite! No matter what year you listen to the song, it is perfect for the times we are currently living.  

ALL old school Motown runs a close second as my favorites.
