I like how some states have their own, but everything west of Texas is just "western".

I guess the person that decided on these "accent" places couldn't figure out the western part of the U.S.

I have a CA accent. (Not Valley Girl, though)

I wonder why the Mississippi Gulf accent goes up to a point in IL. I think whoever made it was just doodling.

According to the map mine would be northeastern, but I really don't think that's correct for Michigan. I've had a number of people presume that I'm originally Canadian because of the way I speak but I was born, raised and have lived most of my life in SW Michigan.
