Generalizations on what women do or shouldn't do is riduculous. If you don't want to wear faux tan or MU, fine. I don't do faux tan, I get tan crossing the street. Sometimes I wear my warrior paint, sometimes bare face.
I do feel better with some brows drawn in cause next to nekkid brows are not attractive and scary, I am protecting the public. Yes I am a heroine. I paint my toes a turquoise blue to attract attention. Plain Jane red will not do. For the masses, especially men? I'm trying to attract Smurfs!

May I ask what brand you use? Thanks.

"This is what's wrong with it: First of all, everyone knows it's a fake tan because you look orange. Second, why do females feel the need to 'enhance' themselves every living minute of the day? That's one of the reasons no one takes any female seriously. She's always trying to appeal to an aesthetic dictate. This personal choice garbage has become an existing prison. After a while, you no longer do it for yourself. You do it for the masses, typically men."
i'd, too, want to distance myself from this post.
it's still surprising to know that some women can't stand other women. i also agree with you in saying "what a kooky thing so say."

what's so wonderful about a democracy is that we all have a choice in what we choose or don't choose to wear. many aren't as lucky as we are. we are truly blessed.

I tan very easily but haven't used liquid make up in ages. I don't even use mineral veil anymore. A sunscreen moisturizer and some mineral blush but that's it. I'm lucky I got my mom's skin. But I don't see any problem with women who want a faux tan - better than baking in the sun. Everyone likes to look nice I don't think it has anything to do with men or ""the masses"". Some have skin issues and why not want to smooth them out.
I think we do too much judging when it comes to make up. Let women do what they like. It's not a big deal.

Hi Celeste,
I use Physician's Formula BB+ Cream. In the winter I wear the Light and now I'm wearing the light/medium.
A little goes a LONG way. The concealer that matches is nice, too.

If my skin was even toned, not blotchy, smaller pores and if I did not have seborrheic keratosis and sebaceous hyperplasia, then I would not wear makeup. I wear makeup every day, even at home, I always feel more put together with it on, rather than without.

What's wrong with my skin is that I inherited my red headed grandmother's fair skin. It doesn't tan well, so I use a little bronzer on my face. I gave up on self tanners as they streak and never look natural. As for the sun, I have to be very careful when I am out in it. This summer I have had two MOHS surgeries on my face from skin cancer. I know you can get skin cancer regardless of the type of skin you have, but I wish I had a little more pigmented skin so that I could tan somewhat. Mick Jagger was right, though. You can't always get what you want.

I look forward to trying it. I recently quit wearing the tinted moisturizer I had been using because it had started to feel too heavy. Thanks again!

I always wondered why also. I am so pale but I do like to use a bit of self tanner but not an over amount that looks fake and crazy!!
