@MamaWick Oh dear! Where are the deer? Ah ha, "deer" they are rght there in the second picture.
Perhaps the heat is too much for them, so they might come over in the late evening. Our deer arrive during the night when all the other critters are asleep.
Woofs to Miss Cricket. Don't want her to think that the deer usurp her authority. 😃

We have deer here too, and yesterday it hit me how graceful they are as they jump fences. Got to see a baby yesterday, I always think it's kind of late in the year to have one that small. Don't you just love to watch them though!

In my area of Texas, mating is usually from around the first of November to the first of January. The fawns are born from around mid May to the end of June.
