LipstickDiva, my problem was that I couldn't get to the Hotmail site. Something else interfered. At first I was suspicious, but finally did change my password just so I could move from that page.

I use Hotmail (Outlook) but haven't had any problems. I checked the service status out of curiosity and it says "We're having problems opening email. The service might be slow, or you might see error messages."

I have an old hotmail account that I still use as a secondary email, and I haven't had any issues accessing it. Someone posted a link that showed a list of sites that were or were not affected by the Heartbleed bug. MSN/hotmail is showing they were not affected, and it wasn't necessary to change your password. I guess it's a good idea to change all passwords, though, just to be "safe." Here's the list:

I have hotmail and msn also and don't have problems with either one. I know they are the same company but you can use either for your address.
