Okay, this is not something I'm proud of but let's just say I know McDonald's Diet Cokes like the back of my hand. And not only did they recently have a huge increase in price, they're now slightly watered down too...something is different. At least that's the case with the particular location I go to.

wow @pupwhipped  i do like their fountain sodas, but i will say that mcdonalds locations near us have every size soda for $1!

I'm being ripped off, @sunshine45Woman Surprised Large size has now gone from around $1.10 with tax to $1.90. They're pricing me out of the soda drinking market! I don't understand how there can be different pricing but I think I'm going to try to get to the bottom of it.

@homedecor1 - I'm with you on WaWa coffee. When I go back to NJ I can't wait to stop there. Recently I noticed 7-Eleven popping up - wish WaWa would make the move south!

Here in FL Wawa is taking over every corner.  7-11 used to be my "go to" place no longer now we have Wawa in the Tampa area.

I love going back to NJ for the real casinos not like here ...lol

The one item I've had from MDs that never had a decline in quality, even during the recession was their coffee. Its always been outstanding. I hadn't had any for along time until last week. My husband bought me a cup for a treat and it did not have the flavor it used to have. Today, my husband brought me another cup. It's a completely different coffee than they used in the past. It's not smooth anymore. The flavor is completely different. It's obviously a different coffee. Has anyone else noticed this? It's still strong.

It could just be where you live @Mindy D  or the one you frequent.  I drink coffee everyday but don't buy too much of it when out.  Remember McDonald's are franchises that are owned privately.

The coffee that I think is the worst and you can't tell it's coffee is Duncan Donuts.  That's Duncan donuts anyplace I've ever purchased it.  I won't drink it.

@Kachina624

Read your " meatball " comment.  Suggestion to make your own really great meatball sandwich from store bought:   Try either Rosina or Botts brand.  My friend found that BJ's store brand bag of meatballs was made by Rosina.

  ( I don't make my own any more because these two brands are really excellent !!!   DH agrees also.  )
