A. Special Edition of Purity made Simple? Do you keep the empty plastic bottles? Asking for a friend
B. Host at Home Seems over-kill and a part of the Q’s financial
issues. Again, asking for a friend.

I agree on both counts completely!!!  The Host at Home is ridiculous and just plan silly.

It's a Special Edition design so it states.  As far as the comment about Jane not sure what you mean by being part of their financial issues.  Answering on behalf of "your friend."

Do you keep the empty bottle? Not referring to Jane as it happens regularly now. And paying for a second host does affect their bottom line and ultimately that cost filters down to customers. Answering for myself. Maybe not giving the hosts 3 hour blocks and working in other hosts they would not need two hosts. Simply economics.

Maybe more for gift-giving.  As far at Q's financial issues, I couldn't say.  I'm not a business owner and can't even imagine what it takes.  With all businesses, I am sure it's tough for them right now.  Big and small.

Why single out Purity made Simple?  The purpose is the same as a Special Edition of ANY product EVER.

@summergal1  I'm not sure what you mean by "part of the Q's financial issues."  They had a stellar sales bonanza in their last quarterly financial report.  It's mostly due to the pandemic; new and current customers turned to online sales and QVC performed very well overall.

Also, I'll add that undoubtedly hosts are salaried and not paid by the hour.

So, while having Jane appear is arguably unnecessary,  it doesn't increase QVC's expense. Unless they paid for the equipment she's using.

The purpose of special edition Purity and host at home is to sell products.
