Mine has to be about his favorite tupperware container with burn marks on the bottom. I wanted to throw it out and he INSISTED on keeping it. It was retro from the 90's so it was hard to replace but low and behold I found it on ebay and bought it. We finally threw the damaged one out.

@Deb1010yetagain I have too many to choose from.

I'm like @Karnerblue! So many "funny" ones. I think a lot of them are just to keep in practice. LOL

My husband hates to throw anything away.... we had an argument one day about his having shirts in his closet from when we first met.... when he was 20 something and weighed 160 pounds wet. Now he is 61 and weighs 220 pounds dry. BUT he had to keep these shirts that would not even button if he could put them on..... we argued for awhile and then we just got over it.
Things like that to argue about seems so trivial. Why should I care what he keeps in HIS closet. I know is it a controlling issue that I have. It is none of my business. I try to learn from stupid arguments over the 35 years of married bliss. He does not start the arguements.... I do over something he does that ticks me off. I have over the years come to learn to accept rather than change him.... it is not easy still but I keep trying!

We argue over stupid stuff all the time, and it just tires me out. I don't like being told what or how to do things and he thinks he is an expert at everything.
One of our last clashes was how many cans of beets to buy to make our Easter beets and horseradish. He wanted to buy 6 cans. I was happy with 2. Every year we make this and every year I end up throwing out over half of it. I ended up buying 3 cans and taking an aspirin when I got home.
Then last night, I started the dishwasher. It was going for about 5 minutes and then he decided to stop it to add one lousy spoon which he could have easily washed by hand. Ugh

Snicker...I am embarrassed to say we have a very similar ONGOING battle very similar to yours! Over Lock N Lock!
I have a LOT of glass Lock N Lock. Each lid fits ONLY that particular dish.
The lids are washed by hand. The glass dishes in the dishwasher.
I keep asking him NOT to put either away until they are matched up! Due to limited cabinet space....they end up getting stored in several spots. BUT if you wait and match them up b4 putting away....no problems...right? The top and the bottom are always together!
Makes sense to a woman, anyways! LOL
He insists on putting the lids away without the bottom dish! Or vice versa.
The dish ends up in the other cabinet, the lid in a different one!
You go to use it...NO LID FITS!
Arrgghh! I am pretty sure he does it on purpose to make me crazy. Sadly, we argue about it all the time!

We have to be on the same page to argue. He or I according to him, come into the room and just start talking (he just did this!!!) and I'm doing or listening to something else and have no idea what he's talking about. We're off center so much we need a map to get on track so we can argue! LOL. And these, my girls, are the Golden Years.

I can't even remember the last time we argued over anything, one of the benefits of old age.

I can settle this argument for you.
The correct answer is ZERO!
