Yesterday in north Oxnard - I didn't walk my little lhasa. Today I waited til 5PM to take a 15 minute walk. Brutal.

Today (Tuesday 10/24) was 106 in Long Beach, California!!!!! Horrible!

I live in Redding. Up north. It gets very hot here in the summer. This summer was particularly hot and lasted a long time.

I was born and raised in NYC and Brooklyn - and I remember the very humid summers and very cold winters.

Never humid here in th summer. Very dry. Luckily since it often gets up to 116 degrees!

It was 102 here today. Just miserable. 

Its 81 right now, and mr henny is going for a swim.

I'm wilting. Most people here do not have ac as we are close to the ocean.

My cat gets so frisky when it gets cool. He is quite entertaining to watch .

Our low tonight will be in the upper 40's for the first time this season!

Still no frost in central Wisconsin, but it should arrive by the weekend. Highs near 50 but windy.

It finally stopped raining.

The high is only going to be about 50.  I'd like to see the sun today.  LOL
