ME TOO, if the truth be known....

I think you two both need to think a little harder about your blessings. You would be a lot happier.

Yes Ma'am, I will I promise. Very sorry, you are right. L<3

I can't say I waited for any loved ones.

But I did wait ten years after my divorce to get back my beloved dining table and hutch.

And, oh yes, retirement.  I started getting antsy over ten years ago and now I've been nicely into it for half a dozen years or so.

True love!

Came at the perfect time for us both to marry, though neither of us were actively searching for it.

Glad I didn't settle for less before meeting him.

my husband was worth the wait. Never had a boyfriend till after I left home after high school graduation. My parents would not let me date.

Re: What's in your life that was well worth the wait?

@viva923 I have a girlfriend from HS who was not even allowed to be friends with a boy, never had a date or went to any mixed parties etc until she moved out of her father's house at 24. Her Mom died when she was little and it was just her & her Dad. He was ridiculously strict. He never told her or had anyone tell her about sex. She always laughs at herself and says "Poor Bill, really had an uphill battle with me on our honeymoon because I did not know anything at all."  Anyway, she met the right guy at church and they have been married almost 50 years. The only man she ever had a date with and the only man she has ever kissed. Imagine that.

That sweet infant foot in my Avatar.  By the beginning to mid portion of April I will have to figure out a way to add to it for the Grandson coming.
