Lots and lots of rain.  It began during the night with some rumbles and flashes. Then the sirens began blaring late morning.  We're under a tornado warning for about another 20 minutes. 

BTW, @qualitygal,. The Ark Encounter is fantastic!  We've been there a.couple of times.

Which window? Sunny with a rainbow out the front and partly cloudy with showers out the back this morning.  Typical of Maui. Come this afternoon, that will switch and the rainbow will be out back.

I love that!! I just was wondering why we never hear about Hawaii on the news.  I guess when you're perfect, there's no need to mess with it.  Aloha!!

@qualitygal  We're actually having an unusually cold and wet winter here this year. I think it has rained at least some almost every day since the middle of December. Of course, that varies by island and by area of each island; leeward vs windward and upcountry vs sea level. But I feel bad for the many tourists here now.  It's downright cold and way too windy for comfort.
