On Thanksgiving, I *MUST* watch the old "Miracle on 34th Street" (1947) w/ Natalie Wood) preferrably in B&W, but color is okay.

(Unfortunately, it's not usually on TV, so I have a DVR copy, always)

I have FAVE FAVE Hallmark'ish Christmas movies, esp for "Dog Lovers"

"The Christmas Shepherd" (2014) (as in German Shepherd) (w/ Terri Polo) **LOVE THIS MOVIE**

My newest FAVE "Christmas Movie" as of last year:

"Five More Minutes" (2021) with Nikki Deloach & David Haydn Jones)

Contender is: "A Veteran's Christmas" (2018) with Eloise Mumford, Sean Faris (Sgt Grace leaves the Service, & is separated from her K9 Partner)- (HAPPY ENDING!)

The Polar Express.

Very charming holiday fantasy with sophisticated animation. Not cartoony. No cutesy animals. Tom Hanks does the voice for a major character and he is delightful.

I own it on DVD and I still watch it on TV when it's shown this time of year. Nice to watch with kids, but still very uplifting for adults.

The first one must be Miracle on 34th Street. On Christmas Eve, it's White Christmas, then on Christmas Day, A Christmas Story.

While not movies, I have to watch all the Rankin/Bass animated tv specials.

Christmas in Connecticut 1945 is my new fave.

Wartime setting, Barbara Stanwyck is a then day Martha Stewart writing a column for a popular women's magazine. Except her life on her farm, with husband and baby are absolute fiction!
