I don't know if it's been mentioned, but does anyone remember the Miracle on 34th Street remake with Sebastian Cabot, David Hartman, and Jane Alexander 1973?

Usually, I don't care for remakes, but I loved it.  Always was a Sebastian Cabot fan from his  Family Affair days.

Y'know @Chopsmom

I do vaguely remember this remake (1973).

I'm going to search for it.

Sebastian Cabot always was such a great, & beloved actor, & besides, I grew up with him on "Family Affair!"  Thanks!

Found it!

Under YT search title:

@YouGoGirl1

I LOVE LOVE both of these movies, & actors.

"Christmas Card" about a visiting Vet ('on a Mission'), who it turns out has the same "taste in food" as the daughter (of Ed Asner),   then later at her Dad's (Ed Asner's) Wood Mill.   Wonderful movie & ending! (And of course love Ed Asner)

.. and LOVE Autumn Reeser and Anthonio Cupo, in absolutely *anything* they perform in, esp their "Love T'giving Parade" with her love of "former fashioned outfits."

I see BOTH these movies, at least once EACH Christmas. The never get old!

Reeser & Cupo 'reignite" in a new movie where she's a rich gal (sorta undercover, on a "relaxing trip"), and he's a Fireman.

Movie named: "A Glenbrooke Christmas" (2020)  They "ignite again."

Reeser & Cupo may have "coupled acted" again in other movies; I sure hope so!  But each of them in whatever movie, I love, & must see.

Thank you, @YouGoGirl1

You remind me to make sure both Cupo & Reeser are on my "Actor Record" on DVR!

Re: What's Yr Fave Christmas Movie/s?

The Holiday is my contemporary favorite, just sorry it took me almost 10 years to discover it! Where was I? (I love Last Holiday, too, although it is not strictly a Christmas movie.) I will always love White Christmas and Holiday Inn, don’t care how PC they are, or not. Love all the movies in which Bing Crosby played a priest; again, don’t care about Politically Correct.

The Family Stone is a wonderful, sadly underrated contemporary Xmas movie, great casting, great performances. However, be WARNED you will need a box of Kleenex at the end. Lastly, Lethal Weapon and Die Hard, the originals, are high on my list as well. Gotta have a sense of humor, even at Xmas!
