Perkins Family Restaurant and Bakery in central N.J. They have wonderful potato pancakes with applesauce and the best coffee. Of course I sometimes eat breakfast for dinner!

Bone Fish Grill. Same owners as Outback and somewhat more upscale. I like it because of their Bang Bang Shrimp. I am addicted to it. A batter dipped shrimp, fried to crispiness and then covered with a light sauce. Although it has a little heat, they serve it on a bed of lettuce which will cut the heat quickly. Hmmmmmm I can't type this without yearning for this shrimp.

You order your fresh fish with any topping and sauce you like. Their soups are good too. Not too pricey. Plan to spend 35-50 per person.

Re: What's Your Favorite Eating Place

We have a small pizza chain in east central Indiana called Pizza King. It's always the go to place. Expensive but worth it!!!

My other favorite is a tiny chain Thai restaurant (as far as I know they only have one other restaurant) called Thai Smile. Good and fresh!!!

OK, I'm really hungry now!

Re: What's Your Favorite Eating Place

We have a local place near us that has gluten free food on the menu because the owner's wife has Celiac Disease. Everything is fresh and they have vegetarian food cooked to perfection. Whenever we go, it is a great experience because we know the wait staff and the owners.

Twice a year we have a restaurant that we frequent because nobody does fish the way that they do. Special occasion dining though...quite pricey..

Re: What's Your Favorite Eating Place

In all honesty, my kitchen is my favorite eating place. Food allergies have totally ruined the dining out experience for me, so I do my best to avoid eating other people's food, and just eat all meals at home.

Re: What's Your Favorite Eating Place

To start I want to say that Mama's on Mauii is heaven on earth. So many wonderful family events have occurred there. The food is spectacular!

For my home town. We have several favorites. The first being Your Place for Thai food. The decor is hideous, but the food is superb and the owners are lovely.

We love The Palace for Cajun food. Wonderful food, fun atmosphere with live music and great waitstaff.

Brophy's on the wharf is a fun go to for fish. Love their fried shrimp and salad.

Many upscale places but not always the first choice.

HOME. I never eat out. I only want healthy clean food. Nothing processed or touched by people who probably did not wash after using the rest room.....
