It's almost impossible to get a reservation in most restaurants for VDay, so I'm considering cooking something easy but nice.

Trader Joe's has a mini flyer out for specials including filet mignon, I'm considering that with a nice sauce, baked potato with lite sour cream and chives, Caesar salad, champagne and something chocolate that's small.  One of the better grocery stores sells decadent individual brownies, I'll probably get those.

I found a really nice set of three candles in pink on Amazon, so I'll decorate the table with those.

But I might just say forget all that and order delivery, lol.

What are others doing?

@Noel7...LOLOL...Hey, the thought was there and the image sounds very romantic!...However, delivery sounds perfect and you can still easily add the pink candles, so the romantic image will not be totally lost!...LOL...Enjoy!

@MyShadowLove lol  Enjoy the restaurant and have a great Valentine's Day.  Your husband sounds like a real gem!  You're a lucky girl to have him.  Whether he's up to something or not take advantage of it hahahahaha.

We would always have 3 good friends of ours (widows) for V. Day dinner. Sadly they are gone now and we think of them. We would tell them they were our sweethearts.

We are putting ours on hold, even though it is our ? wedding Anniversary. My wife right now is juggling 3 Pet Sitting jobs, which will last for over another week. She has been gone for 6 days already.

Got her a Duluth Trading jacket she has been wanting, no flowers or diamonds. When she gets some free time, I will take her out to dinner when she picks a day and time.

Will make her a dual Anniversary/Valentine card.

As for you?  Order in.             =^..^=

Dinner here; low country boil with King crab legs added, prime rib and cocktails.

Re: What's Up For Valentine's Day?

I got my husband a valentine and I know he got me one.  No celebration. I've been extremely busy lately and have given no thought to Valentine's Day to be honest. But, if I had, it wouldn't be a big thing.  It's just a day.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

John, that sounds wonderful!  I wish you and Cindy a very Happy Valentine's Day Heart

I still haven't decided what to do about dinner, lol.  DH is always agreeable to going out or even cooking himself.  I have ordered numerous paperback bestselling mysteries for him, which he loves Smiley Happy
