Generally family living in town meets at church on Easter then we go home for a big meal. We did something different this year -- while still keeping some of our traditions. This year, Easter Sunday didn't work for everyone, so we all met at church on Palm Sunday, (I love it when our kids visit us at church) we went out for breakfast at our favorite downtown café, went home and hid Easter eggs with goodies inside the eggs (for both grown children & grandkids). Lots of laughs. I prepared the following desserts: Strawberry, pretzel and cream cheese pie. Also made oreo truffles. Then, everyone played softball in the backyard with tennis balls. Lots of laughs with family.

For those celebrating next weekend - have a lovely time. I look forward to Easter with family more than Christmas.

The PEEPS cupcakes are very cute!

Hi HW, they seem easy, too. You cook, cool and use a melon baller to hallow out the center, then cover the top of the hole with frosting and a Peep.

Just got an email from Kevin. If anyone is wondering what to do with the Easter leftovers, here are some ideas:

I rent a room in Cupertino and only get to see my 8 y/o once a week for 3 hours. My 16 year old boy won't talk to me and my 24 y/o daughter won't talk to me either. They wont accept b-day presents or xmas presents. It hurts me so much and I have tried so hard to reach out to them. I appreciate your kind words...felicia

I can't imagine only 3 hours a week. Do you have an attorney?

That's very sad, hsawaknow.

We spent the day with family and friends and I ate way too much ! The weather was fantastic and we were able to be outside for most of the afternoon.

Yesterday was one of the few times I didn't freeze to death at sunrise services.
