What's A Smell That Evokes a Memory

What is a scent that takes you back in time? Good or Bad.

For me:
1. AquaNet pump hairspray. Reminds me of when my mother and father separated and my Mom took my younger sister and me to live in Florida (from PA) for 6 months. We lived in a tiny apartment. I can still see the hardwood floors and sheer curtains blowing in the breeze. It's bittersweet because my sister and I had a blast with my cousins, however we missed our Dad.
2. Tranquil Moments perfume and Skin So Soft both by Avon. Same time period, TM reminds me of my first job after high school and cruising town. SSS reminds me of hot summer nights, swimming and young love.

My Dad's pipe tobacco. He smoked a blend of Sir Walter Raleigh and Cherry. I still have about 25% of his last tub of mix in a very old Tupperware container. Whenever I'm missing him terribly, I just crack the lid and take a wiff.

The ocean, so many happy times in it and the wonderful smell of our dogs💓

(I still can smell them all the way up to the rainbow bridge🌈and every day).

Old Spice. My dad wore it. I love it and miss him when ever I smell it.

Ahhhh, yes....salt water. When I'm headed to my place at the beach, I always roll down the windows as I turn on to the last 5 mile stretch of road. There's nothing like the smell of salt water.

Whenever I smell White Shoulders cologne on someone, it evokes fond memories of my grandmother. It was her signature scent. I doubt that it is still a popular fragrance since I do not smell it often, but the aromatic experience is welcome when I do.😊
