When my beloved sister was still here, she used to get so annoyed when someone said "it was so fun." Usually it was a younger person. We always said something was so much fun, or we had so much fun.
I didn't let it bother me, but it did take some getting used to. Now no one uses so much fun anymore. Maybe it was just a North Jersey thing back in the day.
By the way, what do you think of "back in the day?" LOL

"trending" I hate that word.
Who cares? Really?
Just about all the common phrases the hosts use during a presentation too.
"Find me on....." (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc etc)
This social media thing has gotten out of hand IMHO.

...Thank you very much. (after they've made a comment)
My top pet peeve is ~ "I'm obsessed". Next, I am scrambling for the remote.
Sorry, one more... "drop dead gorgeous"

mine is "Basically"...people seem to use it when they can't find the right word
But what just grates on my ears is, using "seen" and "saw" wrong.
Wrong - I seen him at the mall. I seen that !
Right- I saw him at the mall. I saw that !
Use "seen" when you use the words " have", "has" or "had"
Right- How many of you have seen that movie ? I have seen her riding in many local horse shows. Hopefully, everyone has seen the announcement. No one had seen the cat slip out of the house.

Add these to my list.
"Are you with me?' ,when asking if you are following what I'm saying.
"You know what I mean?"
"Ya know what I'm sayin' ? "

If I never hear that one again it'll be too soon!
Also "reach out" and "open concept"

A new one for me, that I forget the other day......"BIGLY" What the heck is that? LOL
"Lit" ?? "On fleek"?? I don't understand what they mean, I don't care to, it's probably dumb anyway.
And anything with the ending of "tard". It is offensive for many reasons. Except maybe...custard. That's not offensive.
