My dads favorite saying to us kids was:

"Lay down with dogs you'll eventually get fleas"

"Don't swallow your gum it'll expand in your stomach"

"Don't swallow watermelon pits you'll grow a watermelon inside"

& many more ....

My sister and I laugh at some of the things he said😉 that we actually believed!😂

Run to the roundhouse Nellie, they can’t corner you there ( have no idea what he meant & never asked)
