Yard work spring through fall. It's weird, I know. But I don't think or worry when working in the yard. I always feel good when I'm done. Endorphins, maybe.

Last week I put 2 coats of stain/sealant on my deck, cleaned under the deck, put rubber mulch under the deck, put new lattice around the bottom of the deck, and mowed. Not bad for an almost 70 yr old lady if I say so myself.

Other things that make me happy -- a good book, walking my dog, going to see my dad at assisted living, going to Mass, and my social life.

My cats, reading certain spiritual books, Bee Gees music, 70s funk music, exercising at the Y, watching something like Dumb and Dumber, thinking of things I'm grateful for, doing something nice and thoughtful for others.

A few things. I am not hard to please. I love going for a drive with DH. Just no place special - just meandering. I also love going out for a late lunch or early dinner and having maybe a cocktail. Another thing that makes me happy is sitting at home watching a good movie or show and enjoying a little snack and forgetting about everything. Taking a walk on a day when it is not really hot and there is a slight breeze also makes me really happy. I also love looking in our back yard and seeing a little bunny or two. One last thing - sitting on the back patio and reading a novel with a cold drink and just chilling.

@qualitygal I am most happy when fall arrives. It is such a beautiful time of the year.
Once again I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday...All fall decor was 40% off. I found a pretty wreath that I look forward to placing on my front door. I plan to go back when I have more time to pick up some more things that really liked....

I also love spending time with my little granddaughters. They like to go to Claire's...so we plan a trip soon before school starts.
