I always get an emotional lift in the Spring when the snow melts, and we can open the windows. However, Spring is short and "moody" here in northern Wisconsin. So, I think fall wins for me. I don't do well with humidity, so it's always nice when it disappears. I love the colors (which are already coming out), and I've started my Christmas shopping.

Right about now is the best time of the year. We've already got a warning for patchy frost tonight. Soon we will have a hard freeze. Can snow be far behind? I've seen snow up here at the end of September. Short fall.

Fall...by that time we are done with all summer heat and humidity...the severe storms..aka tornadoes...the leaves are so beautiful...the cool crisp air..time for a sweater when you go out..its just a wonderful time of year...

I'll rank them in order of preference:

1- spring

2- summer

3-fall

4- winter.

I like Spring - warmer weather, trees getting their leaves back, green lawns, flowers blooming.

I do like Summer - until the oppressive humidity hits.

I love Fall - cooler air, sun setting a little earlier in the evening.

I detest Winter.

I love the temps, colors & smells of fall but then I know my least favorite season (winter) comes afterwards.

I love Fall and Spring. I hate the intense heat and humidity in the Summer and it is difficult for me to get out of the house when it is cold and snowy in the Winter.

Today it is hot here and I am so verrrrrrry tired of the humidity and heat.
