Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

I agree about sizing.

There used to be a great shoe store in my area-many major brands, and all sizes/widths.  Place was always hopping.  But they closed down and now shoe shopping has me staying with only a handful of brands I know.

Clothes shopping is just not something I enjoy anymore in stores; so online at select favorite retailers is where I tend to stay.

Free shipping is a must, though.  Very rarely have to return anything by staying with tried and true places.

Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

I only shop online.  I rarely make a mistake and love everything I get.  If I have ever had to send something back it has to do with the item not being described or pictured correctly  to match what I ended up getting.  And I make sure I am dealing with a merchant who sees my side of the story and returns the shipping charge.

I will also say we are not an area of big malls or stores. It is more convenient to shop online where I live.  Sometimes I can go into Costco or Walmart and find thing that I like.

Yes, yes and yes. But for me, it is still infinitely better to shop online then to physically go to a B&M store. So I will gladly deal with 1, 2 and 3 listed above, and any other difficulties I encounter.

Watching the package delivery tracking.    Phoenix is NOT a small town.....yet the USPS can't seem to find it..........  It's smack-dab on I10 & I17.

No worse part for me!!  Saves time, saves me money (shopping B & M stores causes me to spend more as I usually stop to eat and spend on unnecessary things I see). All the time wasted as I hate trying on clothes in store so I buy and try them on at home then a trip to return if needed and more unnecessary money spent!!  Online shopping has no downside for me!

Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

As others have already mentioned, the boxes, packing materials, etc. Certain times of year I do quite a bit of online shopping (now is one of those times of the year lol). I'm looking at some boxes I have stacked up right now Smiley Tongue.

I'm one though that still really enjoys shopping in person. It's something that my daughter and I have done together for the past 12 years and we still make short weekend trips based around that. We may not always buy a lot, but the looking/walking around, trying new restaurants, and just spending that time together is a lot of fun. Online shopping can't compete with that part.

Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

I buy very little on line.....clothes must be tried on, I am pretty thrifty and don't like to pay to try on in my home.

I am still able to get out and about so I still do all shopping via my car, maybe when I am older that will change but for now, oneline shopping is not for me.
