A barbershop pole, old Texaco and F.W. Woolworth signs, a street sign from another neighborhood, to name a few. These are in the front yard. I can only imagine what these folks have in their basement, lol.

Many years ago I drove by a home out in the middle of nowhere that had toilet seats hanging from their fence. Different types but all were seats from toilets. The fence was practically covered with them.

Arlington, VA (I live about 4 miles away in the next county) -- a homeowner had an 18 foot tall mermaid statue with an immense chest and long outstretched arms -- carved from a tree -- in his front yard. Caused car accidents, neighborhood protests, and several silly newspaper articles. He tried to sell it on Craigslist a few years back, no takers. She didn't age well; bugs took their toll. Last year she was cut down.

Some type of ceramic figurines about 2 - 3 feet talk of varius African wildlife.....lions, cheetahs, tigers, etc. There must be 20 - 25 scattered throughout the front yard.

When I turned 40, I woke up and found 40 bras all over my front yard - in the bushes and hanging from the trees. There was a big sign out there that said, "Happy Birthday. We Support You"

I laughed so hard.
