Do NOT use anything fingerprint related.  The courts have ruled that the police/other agencies can demand you open the phone with biometric data, but they can't with a pin/password.

I tried to Google that but I didn't

find it, can you tell us more

Yes, police can require you to enter your fingerprint according to one court ruling.  Link is below:

One way to make Touch ID more accurate is to enter the fingerprint you will use most often to unlock your phone more than once.  For instance I use all 5 slots this way:

2 are used for my right thumb since it's the one I use most.  I label these two as R Thumb1 and R Thumb2.

One slot each for my left thumb, right index finger and left index finger.

Since I'm not planning on doing anything illegal or anything that law enforcement or the govt would question, I'll just go on using my fingerprint.

You don't want to be wasting money on a non existent FOI file.

Re: What is the "fingerprint" sign-in on iPhone?

I am not crazy about the fingerprinting, but I don't use my phone much.

You MUST have a password or a fingerprint stored if you want to use your cc on file in your phone, if I understand correctly.

I tried eliminating both password and fingerprint and it deleted my cc...

I understand this is a security feature.

I use my iPad all the time... and it is a pain to have to have my finger correctly placed on my phone... etc.
