Re: What is the oldest item in your wardrobe?

A pair of Ralph Lauren jeans.   Bought them in the 80's.  Wore them today... happy they still fit.

Re: What is the oldest item in your wardrobe?

In 2004, I took a trip to the San Francisco area and on into Yosemite. It was a bit cooler there than I expected, so didn't have a jacket with me. I bought a cheap yellow fleece zip front jacket from a street vendor for $8.99. It has San Francisco embroidered on it.

Would you believe I still drag that thing out every year. It has been washed a million times and still looks new!😄😄😄😄😄😄

An LV Speedy 30 bag that I have had for 40 years.

Probably some older D&CO jeans and a few sweaters. I occasionally wear them even though they are probably 20 years old.

I purge my clothes at least every time mod to a year if I haven't worn. But the two oldest items in my closet is an Andrew Marc lamb leather jacket that is still beautiful and different in its style from the 80s.   I had not worn it in years but could never part with it,   It has now been resurrected and every time I wear it people stop me and ask me where I got it and want to touch it because it's crazy soft.

The other item is a light weight gabardine jacket, taupe in color with bronze buttons on two lapel pockets and two lower pockets.  It's just so stylish and chic.  I don't care what I pair it with, it always looks great.   Can't buy stuff like this anymore.  It doesn't exist and if it did it would be unaffordable for me.  I remember buying it at a designer warehouse sale .

Re: What is the oldest item in your wardrobe?

Had to think about this. Mom was in Hawaii in 1972 and brought me back some clothes.

Sure could use a little good news today.
